Dear All St. Leo’s Families,
Welcome back to school! I am very excited about the school year that is about to begin. Whether you will be dropping your child off at St. Leo’s for the first day of PreK or Kindergarten or you are a veteran parent of a school-aged child, the start of a new school year is always a time filled with excitement. Our focus is to provide each child with new challenges that will result in a rewarding school experience. We want your child to be happy and successful and you play a key role. That role is to continually show interest in, and to support, your child. A child who knows his or her family is interested in and supports school programs and staff, will almost always enjoy greater success, and will have fewer problems in school.

I continue to be inspired by the dedicated staff and families in this community, and look forward to getting to know our new team members. St. Leo’s is a school where students are supported and encouraged to grow in all areas- academically, socially and emotionally. I am fortunate to be a part of this high-quality learning community, and I speak on behalf of the entire staff when I say we are excited to have each of you as part of our school community. It takes all of us to help each and every child reach his/her potential, and we look forward to sharing in your child's learning experiences.

Our staff recognizes the role they play in helping your children reach their full potential, and they do not take that responsibility lightly. We truly believe all students can be successful, and this belief drives the work we do on a daily basis. Parent involvement is also vital to your children’s success, and we ask that you continue to play an active role in their education.

Working together we will have a wonderful year filled with learning, lifelong relationships and the joys of success and accomplishment. I look forward to seeing each of you, and to working with you and your children throughout the year.

We believe it is important to be connected to the school through positive relationships, a sense of community, and participation in extracurricular opportunities; from the first day of school to the last, this is a message students will hear often.

I am privileged to lead such an outstanding school community and, and I look forward to what I know will be both a rewarding and successful year. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns, or input at any time.

Looking forward to seeing everyone for an exciting new school year!! Peace & Blessings,
Traci Koval Principal
